Minamata Disease Museum
Built in 1988 to remind us of the Minamata disease case caused by Chisso, as a starting point for thinking about how society should be. The damage from Minamata disease, battles of the patients, the Shiranui Sea, the loss of residents along the sea, and victimizing actions taken by Chisso and the government are recorded and displayed.
